Dip painting: what does it involve?
Dip painting provides perfectly even application and colour distribution, as well as considerable savings in time and paint consumption.
SVI have an automated plant for dip painting, including a line of spray cabins equipped with reciprocators for applying water-based paint.
The dipping bath can hold up to 36,000 L of paint kept constantly moving, capable of jet treating items of dimensions up to 2200 x 1000 mm.
After extraction from the dipping bath the painted products pass through a ventilated oven that rapidly dries the paint.
