OUR SERVICES
The SVI processing cycle
01
Deburring and shot-blasting
The deburring process eliminates any irregularities or protrusions that might be present on metal items to be treated.
02
Pre-treatment in 4 stages
Items are cleaned and degreased with an iron salt phospho-degreasing solution at temperatures from 50° to 60°C and then rinsed with hot demineralized water.
03
Oven drying
After the pre-treatment stage the items go through a drying oven with circulating air at 100°C.
04
Primer application
Primer is hand applied by immersion or spraying with water-based paint, which is kept constantly agitated with special pumps and at a regulated temperature.
05
Oven drying
After primer application the items are dried in a continuous oven with closed-circuit air circulation at a temperature of around 200°C.
06
Coating
The items then move on to final coating by spraying with liquid paint, or application of thermo-setting powder.
07
Hot curing
The process concludes with transit through a continuous oven in circulating air at around 200°C.
08
Testing and packaging
After surface coating a range of tests are conducted to assess the quality before the products are packaged for delivery.
SVI SERVICES
Manual deburring
The hand deburring process is
one of the strong points of the SVI service
Deburring involves the removal of any flakes of excess material remaining attached to items after press forming or other mechanical or cutting processes.
Sand-blasting removes surface impurities or oxidization by firing abrasive materials at high speed onto the items being processed.
